Message to DJI - It seems THOUSANDS of users have already contacted you about your back to front gimbal wheel. And you keep ignoring them. Why???

People have been complaining about this since 2017, and you just give the same useless response that you will forward feedback to your developers.

This is NOT a feature request. It is people asking you to FIX SOMETHING THAT YOU DID WRONG.

It's back to front. Pull down should go up, like a plane, and like in gaming. It's common sense guys.


But since you have known about this fault since 2017, had thousands of people complain, and chose to do nothing, it is fair to say that you really don't give a crap about your customers. Why is that???

Send this to a manager. Get this thing fixed in the NEXT UPDATE. You've had 5 years to fix it. Stop treating customers like dirt.

At least make it an option to reverse the direction of the gimbal wheel.

To be honest I'm used to it now, but I agree that a setting could be added to the DJI Fly to allow users to invert the control.

It's not "wrong", it's more preference. In games, there's a setting for inverse look. We just need that option.

I 100% disagree.  The gimbal wheel has worked the way it does for every DJI drone I have owned back to the P2 Vision+.  Pull down, the gimbal tilts down.  Push up, the gimbal moves up.  Exactly like the left stick climbs & descends.  Perfectly intuitive & natural.  That said having an option for backward folk to reverse things can't hurt.

I can only agree with you there...

the gimbal wheel is controlling the camera NOT the aircraft therefore down should = down..

Give them your automobile comparison rant , I can't remember exactly what you said last time this question was posted but it was very funny and true...

my RS3 gimbal has the option to reverse all those controls. Shouldn't be too hard a fix

... but that's not a "fix"...

It's a change...

let's be honest guys. since this issue is since 2017 and they haven't fixed it yet (5 yr), the likelihood they ever will is very low to none.
they probably not seeing this as an issue or something they need to change or they would have done it by now..That goes both for reverse gimble wheel and the up/down reverse option.
