After installing the latest firm wear the aircraft will not stop the loud beeping?

I had the same problem, but I waited about 20min then beeping stopped

Yeah, the upgrade would appear to stop mid-way but just wait for it and don't panic.

Make sure everything is sufficiently charged (mobile device, aircraft and controller). Best if they're in the 90-100% state of charge.

I turned everything off remove the battery let it sit for a while then tried to reinstall and turn it back on the beeping still there

Check the file on the SD card  log.  See what it says .  Success, failure abort?  If it was a solid ddddddddddddddddddddddddddd then it failed.

It beeped for over an hour yesterday was nonstop

It still says bin file it doesn't say anything about the status whether it failed successful or boarded

Have you ever done an update before ?

The first thing I would like you to do is read my tips page, make sure you are doing the basics correctly.  

Pull that SD card out of the Aircraft and we will start from scratch.

Ok, first thing you need to do is format the SD card.  Do it on the aircraft if you know how to , or on a PC.  I really hope you are using a PC for this and Not a MAC.  

Then when you have the SD card formatted I want you to load this file to it.  This will auto download to your  downloads FOLDER  make sure you  grab this one and not one of the other ones.  You own the phantom Pro and must make sure you are not getting the advvanced version.  Once this is loaded on the SD card.
I want you to load it on the aircraft,  Make sure it is OFF when you install it.  Then turn it on once the SD card is placed in the SD card slot.

You only want the Bin file .  If you own a Mac it should already unzip, all you want is the BIN file NOTHING ELSE.  BE sure to Format on the Aircraft .

Macs will look like they are formatted but they leave hidden files, that is why I want you to format on pc OR AIRCRAFT.

i have seen several problems with Macs, I have no problems with MACs personally but they cause alot of grief with DJI downloads.  

Can you format on the Aircraft ok?  you know how to right?  If not I can tell you how

You must do it every time to insure  that it does not have hidden files.  I am almost certain that is the problem.  I had a man in the Netherlands today with a Mac and he had the same problem as you .  as soon as he formatted on a sd card and loaded only the BIN file he was all set.

I tried another SD card to format on the aircraft. I got the same response. Format timed out.

Also having a time out ( SD )  on the Aircraft is strange, might be defective.

If you want to go buy a SD card and get back with me . I will be happy to help.  I am sure this is the problem.  Just get a new sd card, format it on the aircraft or friends PC and load the File I gave you.

Can you format it on a friends PC by any chance ?  I hope the files that were hidden on the SD card did not damage the  device.  I have never seen that warning before.

What firmware do you have on the Phantom pro currently ?  You have not updated the RC transmitter yet have you ?

Yes I updated to RC right after i thought i had updated the aircraft

I downloaded up and completed update now my controler just beeps.
Battery was full now it is dead from it just beeping.
I cant tell if the Drone is even taking the update.

I have the 1.7.0060 update on there now

Just install the SD card into the Phanatom.  turn on of course,  Then turn on rc and go app of course like you are going to fly.  Go to the camera  setting menu, go to the tool wrench and go to the bottom it says Format SD card.  There will be a warning first that it will wipe out all data  It will take a moment but it will say format complete .

Is this how you do it?

Make sure those SD cards dont have any updates on them if you can

It 1st said that it couldn't format the SD card because the camera was busy. Then it tried again. Said Timed Out. You got a bullet? LOL

Can you get to a PC by any chance ?  Or can you  try again to format on the MAC  Try and  look for an option that exposes hidden files.  I guarantee you have data on there we must make sure it is wiped.  Then load only the Bin File and lets try again. Make sure transmitter is off when updating the Aircraft.

Get startd on that I am going to look for a tip on format sd on mac

The steps are also written out below.

Connect the SD card to your computer by using an external card reader.  Save all the files from your SD card that you want to keep to your computer before moving to step 2.  Formatting the SD card deletes all the data off of the card.
Note – If you’re using a Micro SD card, please insert the Micro SD card into the SD card adapter that came with card.  Connect the SD card adapter to your computer by using an external card reader.
Also note – Mac OS 10.6.5 or earlier does not support exFAT format, which most 64 GB SD cards are formatted to.  This means that you won't be able to format or use exFAT card on your computer.  In this case, we'd recommend either upgrading your OS to 10.6.6 or later, or using an SD card that's already formatted to MS-DOS (FAT) or FAT32 to complete the below steps.
Open Disk Utility.  To do this, click on the magnifying glass in the top-right corner of your computer screen.  Type “disk utility” in the search box that opens, then click on the “Disk Utility” Application that comes up.
Find the SD card in the left side of the window.  It’ll be named something like NO NAME or UNTITLED.
Click the ERASE tab in the middle of the window.
Next, click on the “Format” dropdown menu.  Select “MS-DOS (FAT)” if the card is 32 GB or smaller.  If it’s a 64GB card, please select “ExFAT”.
A message will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to erase the partition “[YOUR SD CARD NAME]?”  Click “Erase”. Now the computer will delete the contents of your SD card and format it.  You’re all done.

Once you get it formatted try and load again, you will not be able to use the Aircraft until you get it uploaded to.1.8 Make sure you have nothing on the SD card  but the BIN file.

I will check back as soon as I can, I have to fix a customers Inspire right Now( in person,) I will come back though and check on the progress
