PS2: I tried told them these two case is highly related due to same crash phenomenon at mid air.( camera crazy movement, gimbal banking huge and compass error messsage pop up mid air, drifting and act crazy in sky)

If you see my video log 1, it happen really fast just right after I takeoff 30 seconds. Therefore I really didn't hv time starting record video or even photo and the drop just came out quick and really earlier .
I can proivde KML data to prove that i didnt hit any building or things, because I higher than lot of human made things.

I believe I activated my phantom October 27th , 2015 or close to that date.

it is long.  DJI Ken helped a lot, and the response I got from DJI repair was to send it in. But if I send it in and there is no fault found in the drone, I have to pay the costs. But I am quite clear that this was not due to User Error. if so, please let me know what it is and I will improve and stay away from the supposed user errors.

All I see in this forum are threads on 1) signal loss at short range and 2) fly aways.

DJI needs to get a handle on these issues before their rep is ruined. Had I seen these issues in this forum prior to buying my P3P, I would have bought another brand.

out of the millions of phantoms that they have sold you will only hear about the .001% that have issues. If everyone on here posted about how their flight went well you'd be sick of reading that also. Most if not all fly aways are user error, RTH height wasn't set correctly, taking off with too low battery, flying in major interference areas, not calibrating IMU or compass properly, etc.

Personally I've had the P2V+3.0 and P3A for about 2 years now and any incident I've had was user 100% error, and I'm man enough to admit that I messed up. Everyone that comes and completely bashes DJI, their logs prove that they didnt do something correctly and that was the cause of the crash. These things are a big piece of technology and cant just be taken outta the box and go flying. People dont read the manual fully or watch videos on how to set it up.

Dont not fly because you're scared to have a flyaway, learn how to operate it 100% correctly and you shoudlnt have one.

Signal loss is not the reason made my phantom 3 lose
As I mentioned that the error happened with clear singal live feed , becasue I can see my gimbal banking hard.

Sorry my English may be bad
But as I mentioned previously and my data show me that the cause is compass defect. And I was doing my best, all sensor calibrated before crash happened.

If you sure that is so call your 100% pilot error,
then u can search other case that lot of is similar as mine.

PS : I hv 8 years on RC airplane and two years flight on quadcopter.

I Used To Believe each crash is cause by most pilot error,
I Used To Believe DJI's drone are all well-built ,
But now I really doubt that, coz the data show me and my experience tell my there is some defect on my compass.

Don't buy it for a second. Even with millions sold, you wouldn't so this distribution of topics. There could be a billion sold and that wouldn't change the ratio of normal non problem discussion to vs having every thread being almost all related to no video or fly aways. We're also not seeing the thousands of people who are having this problem who just don't post in the forums.

Face it, DJI has a few major issues that they need to get under control and coming to their defense as though it's just a few people is not going to help DJI or its customers.

Actually if you have sent the DAT files to DJI US support for analyzing and get a RMA number from them, it is recommended to send it to our service center for diagnosis. What’s more, there are some safety tutorials in the DJI Support YT channel.You can look at them.

Even my drone can't claim warranty,
I just want you guys look into the problem of compass mid air error issue, which I heard many case people got it same error.  
Because it may be a huge problem toward any phantom 3 owner.

Today DJI finally said it's their COMPASS MALFUNCTION made my drone out of control in mid air.
So it's not my fault and not a pilot error. But then they said won't give a free new drone because my drone are out of warranty after 1 year period.   {:4_142:}

( They comfirm that
1) drone works well on GPS mode at the beginning
2) compass interference at 3:44 heigh176 , 4:23 height 127 , lost signal
result :
compass interference made it out of control, but I activited it in 19 May last year, so its out of warranty.
)
They analysis my first crash  (recovered lucky) which said my drone is no quality and malfunction probelm before second crash.
So I believe them and I flew it again, but the second crash (flyaway) which they confirm it is compass malfunction
Why they didn't find out the fault compass in first place and told me my phantom is good?
I think they have most responsibility for my case even I'm out of warranty.

The whole experience of having my drone is like they just don't take any responsibility / care  after your warranty period.

I'm so frustrated coz it not my fault at all.
So what can I do now guys?
Any ideas?
