Do you check the balance of your props often?

Unless you scratch props up or damage it, there probably isn't a need.

But do you guys check the balance of your props as a routine? I know RC guys do this as a routine whether or not they have reason to believe there is any damage.

Especially if you are using carbon fiber props. They are brittle so sometimes they might have small chips in them and that is enogh to cause an eccentricity in the props that needs to be rebalanced.

Nope...never have! I've logged 150 flights without bumps or bruises.I make sure they are screwed on tight and clean the bug juice off after I'm done flying.

I checked and balanced them when they were new, I have never checked them again though they dont have any chips or any other damage.
Agree with cleaning off the bug parts etc after flying
